TrackPrep is built from the ground up to be a private-first experience. This policy explains how we handle information—or rather, why we don't handle it at all.
1. Zero Data Collection
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. When you use TrackPrep, we have no access to your:
- Name or Identity
- Email address or Contact list
- Browsing history or Usage habits
2. Local Environment Only
Everything you create in the app stays on your phone. We utilize a secure Room Database to keep your data local. This includes:
- Syllabus progress and topics
- Flashcards and personal notes
- Study session logs and analytics
3. No Third-Party Integration
Unlike many study apps, TrackPrep does not use Google Analytics, Firebase, or any Advertising SDKs. Your data is never sold, shared, or even "anonymously" tracked.
4. Permissions & Safety
The app only requests permissions necessary for the core experience, such as Notifications (for study reminders) and Local Storage (for creating your own backups).
